Introduction

The helium-neon laser used in this experiment has a novel structure, can be used for open display, and has the characteristics of moderate power and good mode. The experimental content is closely integrated with the teaching knowledge, which is particularly suitable for basic experimental teaching of laser principle courses. This helium-neon laser experiment is uniquely equipped with a digital spot profiler in China, which can simultaneously observe the distribution of longitudinal and transverse modes. This laser can continuously change parameters such as cavity shape and mode. The excellent laser cavity mirror adjustment mount greatly reduces the difficulty of adjusting the helium-neon laser and effectively establishes stable and highly repeatable experimental conditions for teaching related principles.

Beam expansion collimation and focusing of Gaussian beam (the influence of the beam expander lens group on the beam quality parameters, the change formula of the beam waist radius and divergence angle);

Beam quality analysis;
