Introduction

A spectrometer is an instrument for intensity measurement of the characteristic spectra that being separated from electromagnetic radiation through dispersive elements. It is mainly composed of slits, dispersion systems, and imaging systems. The newly developed combined fiber optic spectrometer system is based on optical principles, precision machinery as the framework, and photoelectric signal processing as the basis. It organically integrates the knowledge points of light, machinery, electricity, computing, and control into applications. Users can achieve professional customized application measurements such as high resolution, wide spectrum/specific wavelength, and high sensitivity by selecting slits of different widths and gratings with different line pairs. The experiment can not only be used for principle teaching, but also can realize accurate measurement of many different applications such as light source color measurement, Raman material identification measurement, absorbance measurement, transmittance measurement, fluorescence measurement, etc., which is an open and innovative professional experimental platform for the cultivation of new talents.
