Introduction

Laser welding is the follow-up work of device coupling. The welding method and solder joint quality will affect the service life and stability of the product. As a new spot welding method, laser spot welding has unique advantages compared with traditional resistance spot welding. Using laser as the heat source has the characteristics of fast spot welding speed, high precision, small heat input, and small deformation of the workpiece. This station trains students’ ability to operate a three-degree-of-freedom laser welding machine and complete laser spot welding operations.

Training Content

Learn the structure and equipment debugging methods of three-degree-of-freedom optical fiber welding machines;

Conduct welding operation training and complete the position and energy adjustment of three solder joints;

Learn the welding process of fiber-coupled semiconductor laser devices and conduct welding training;

Learn the welding process of optical fiber coupling detector devices and conduct welding training;

Learn the welding adjustment process and conduct adjustment training on high and low temperature aging unqualified devices.
