Introduction

Transmittance (transmittance) is a basic parameter of optical lenses and materials. By building an optical path to measure the transmittance of various materials, students can understand the basic optical path of transmission/loss measurement. At the same time, through this station, students will learn about commonly used optical filters and actually understand the basic properties and applications of these optical filters.

Learn and master the definition of spectral transmittance;

Learn and master the types, naming and spectral indicators of filter glass;

Set up a transmission spectrum measurement of optical path;

Measure the transmission spectra of various types of filter glass.
