Introduction

Taking, cleaning, and packaging optical components are indispensable basic skills in the use, testing, and assembly processes. Correct methods can protect the integrity of optical components during transportation, inspection, and use. This station also allows students to master the national standards related to optical component testing, recognize the types of defects in optical lenses, and train and learn to detect surface defects of optical components.
