SUMMARY

The XME-2203 series of Integrating Spheres have an additional 8° oblique light inlet located at the bottom, which sets them apart from the XME-2201 model. This additional inlet allows light from standard light sources to reach the sample surface at the top and be reflected into the integrating sphere. The reflected light is then integrated on the sphere wall, and can subsequently be measured. The XME-2203 series is particularly useful for measuring the surface reflectance of planar and curved samples.
