SUMMARY
The XME-2204 series infrared gold-coated integrating sphere is characterized by exceptional stability and durability. Its gold-plated coating has a high damage threshold, which was measured to be approximately 19.3 J/cm2 when subjected to a 10.6 µm CO2 laser. This threshold exceeds that of typical gilt plate surfaces and can be further improved with external cooling. Moreover, the coating does not exhibit outgassing in a vacuum environment. The typical diffuse reflectance of the gold-plated coatings above 1000 nm exceeds 94%. The XME-2204 series utilizes an aluminum alloy substrate material.
FEATURES
High Lambertian characteristics.
High diffuse reflectance.
Easy to clean
Gold plated coating has much higher IR reflectivity than ordinary coating.
Durability, gold plated coating is not subject to yellowing and scorching stains after long term light exposure and does not affect reflectivity
APPLICATIONS
NIR / MIR / FIR applications, such as laser testing and reflectance testing.
