Diffuse reflectance standard plates are highly versatile and can be combined with a spectrometer and light source to create a system for measuring the reflectance of various samples. They are suitable for measuring rough surface reflectance, ceramics, rough glass, plastics, and other materials.

The XOP-1205 series diffuse reflectance plate is made of PTFE, which features a Lambert diffuse reflectance surface. The reflected light on this surface obeys the law of cosine in any direction. Plates are available with reflective surface diameters ranging from Φ20mm to 100mm. The containment is made of anodized aluminum, making it waterproof and highly stable, and functional even in deep UV. The standard plate is primarily used for optical calibration, such as light source, color, and spectral analysis, and is also an important accessory for optical integrating spheres.
