SUMMARY
YES-6402 Solar Cell Characteristics Experiment adopts an iodine-tungsten lamp to imitate a solar light source. The light shines on a solar panel and generates current. YES-6402 experiment measures the irradiance of a light source at different distances, mapping the I-D curve, and then measures the output characteristics of different solar cells (Monocrystalline silicon, polysilicon, amorphous silicon) at differentdistances, and calculates short-circuit current (ISC), open circuit voltage (UOC), maximum output power (Pmax), and fill factor (FF). FF isan important parameter in appraising solar cell performance.
PURPOSE
1. In the absence of illumination, the voltage-current characteristic curve of the solar cell under forward bias was measured.
2. The open voltage (Uoc) and short current (Isc) of solar cells under different irradiance were measured.
3. Measuring the output characteristics of solar cells under illumination. Obtain the maximum output power Pmax and fill factor FF.
Features
Solar energy irradiance meter
Irradiance gauge range: 20, 200, 2000W/m2 three switching. In this way, the intensity of sunlight can be measured accurately.
Professional optical track
The tungsten light source and solar cell are placed on an optical track, and the test sample can be adjusted in both horizontal and vertical two-dimensional directions.
Equipped with a light obscuring box
Measurement of dark voltammetry characteristics of solar cells.
Three kinds of solar cell modules
Three kinds: monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon and amorphous silicon. Students can change different solar cell sample components by themselves to cultivate their experimental construction and practical ability.
Digital experiment
With 2 data acquisition interfaces and voltage sensors, it can be upgraded into a computer-based digital data acquisition and analysis experimental system.
