SUMMARY

Light polarization phenomenon is an important part of wave optics. Various optical components and instruments developed by this phenomenon are extremely important and widely used in the detection of material structure, laser and optoelectronic technology. The YGP-6214 light polarization experimental device mainly consists of: light sensor, rotation sensor, laser, precision mounts, lifting mounts, posts and observation screen. This experimental device uses advanced sensor technology and intelligent software to achieve continuous data collection and real-time drawing of experimental data curves, which greatly improves the experimental efficiency and allows students to devote more energy to the principle learning and data analysis of the experiment itself, and be able to learn, understand and master the experiment thoroughly.

  • Understand and master the basic principles and usage of polarizers. Understand and master the polarization characteristics of lasers.

  • By studying Marius' law, master the principles and methods of polarization and analysis of light

  • Study the relationship between the light intensity of the three polarizers and the angle of the polarizers to further understand the polarization characteristics of light.
