Introduction
YPM-8205-06 integrating sphere power detector is an indium gallium arsenic integrating sphere detector covering 800nm to 1650nm band with power measurement range of 1uW - 2W. Two data acquisition methods are available: DB15 with meter display and USB direct connection to PC.
YPM-8205-06-L adopts DB15 interface, which needs to be connected to the power meter meter together for data reading, data storage and power monitoring on the meter. In addition, a USB communication interface is reserved on the meter, which can be expanded to upload the data collected on the detector to the PC for online data collection and analysis in the optical power measurement software.
The YPM-8205-06-U detector uses USB communication and can be directly connected to a PC for data acquisition without a meter. The PC needs to install the optical power measurement software, which can realize the functions of real-time data acquisition, data analysis and power monitoring. In addition, the USB type photoelectric detector can easily form a multi-channel power acquisition system, which can collect and display data from multiple detectors simultaneously via USB Hub.
Digital communication
The detector completes the data acquisition and processing, and uses the digital way to communicate with the optical power meter head to reduce external interference.
Can measure free-space light or connect fiber optic measurement
Integrating sphere detectors allow users to measure free-space light, as well as laser light transmitted through optical fiber using our fiber optic connector adapters (FC or SMA) or bare fiber clips.
Calibration Data
The calibration data is stored electronically in the corresponding detector. The corresponding calibration report is provided to the customer together with the detector at the time of shipment. The report lists the wavelength response of the detector in relation to the spectrum at 10 nm intervals over the corresponding wavelength range. If you have an additional optional attenuator, the electronic storage and calibration report will also contain another set of corresponding calibration data. We offer a paid calibration service and recommend that the detector be calibrated once a year to ensure accurate measurements.
