INTRODUCTION
YMP-6118 Curie Temperature Experiment is an experimental instrument specially used to measure the Curie point of magnetic materials. For ferromagnetic materials, due to the existence of magnetic domains, hysteresis will occur under the action of an external alternating magnetic field. The hysteresis loop is the main manifestation of hysteresis. If the ferromagnetic material is heated to a certain temperature, due to the intensification of thermal motion in the metal lattice and the destruction of the magnetic domain, the ferromagnetic material will transform into a paramagnetic material, and the hysteresis phenomenon will disappear. This transition temperature of ferromagnetic materials is called the Curie point. There are two coils N1 and N2 on the ring-shaped ferromagnetic material in this experiment. N1 is the excitation coil. By passing an alternating current through it, it can provide a magnetic field to magnetize the ring sample. After placing the ring-shaped sample with a coil in a temperature-controlled temperature control device to change the temperature of the sample, the disappearance of the ferromagnetism can be judged by observing whether the hysteresis loop of the sample disappears. Or by measuring the curve of the induced electromotive force of the secondary integrating circuit as it changes with temperature, we can infer whether the ferromagnetism disappears and thereby determine the Curie temperature of the sample.
